Our Story

Her Story
I met Neil in May of 2010. I still lived in NYC and Neil lived in the middle of nowhere (as far as I was concerned). But after two work trips and never ending phone conversations I was totally smitten and we began oficially dating.
After a year of commuting to see each other Neil asked me to move in with him. My response was not well thought through and I told him that I liked living in NYC with Karen (whoops!). I quickly realized my error and left the city I loved to move in with the man I love. 3 cats and 3 years later Neil decided to propose to me in NYC, in Central Park.
What I thought was going to be a dinner-date night quickly turned into getting our picture painted in Central Park. It was a fun change of plans but what I didn't know was that Neil had planned this all out with the artist beforehand and then used the painting as a piece of our engagement! It was creative, intimate and perfect.
And now we are planning our wedding - the start of the rest of our lives together and we are so ready for the adventure to begin! We are so glad that we get to share this special time with you our friends and family that love. We can't wait to see you all and celebrae on April 23, 2015!
His Story
It started with some conversation at a pizza shop in Queens, NY. At the time, I lived and worked an hour away. We used to count the days until we'd see each other again, between visits. Something about Emily struck me and I knew that she was the one for me. Her character was always lively, I felt like she understood me, and I her.
Slowly we got to know each other better over time. In many ways I discovered how we are alike, and how it seemed like our differences compliment each other. Together we always have been going on trips to new and interesting places, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying our time together.
It's been over 4 years, the scenes and events around us keep changing. Emily and I enjoy our own world together. Every day is a new adventure which I share with Emily, and I can't wait for many more to come.
